Commission a Custom Piece

With the understanding that you are familiar with my work, I will choose a medium based on the reference material you provide. I prefer a selection of 5 or more reference photos for portraiture. I welcome you to share your preferences, but I will ultimately choose the medium that I am confident will make a great piece of artwork.

 

We can discuss my reasoning, essential elements, and any other details once I review the provided reference to begin planning your artwork. However, the quality of the images is the biggest factor in my choice, and dictates the amount of detail I am able to render. Digital images are easiest to manipulate, revealing clear structure, lines, and details that are fixed in film photos. Film photos are just as interesting and exciting to work with although limiting in some ways.

I need your billing address, email address, and the mailing address where you want the artwork shipped. General turn-around is 4-6 weeks for framed work, plus shipping time. If you are gifting the artwork, please let me know. ​

I require $150-300 deposit before I begin custom projects, depending on the size of the work. The second and final invoice will include the remaining balance, as well as the reimbursement charge for shipping in the exact amount. The final invoice will also include the tracking number for your shipment. No charge for local pickup at my studio, or SAGE Community Arts (21 West Brundage St).
